General Membership

General membership consists of Individual and Family Membership.

Individual membership means an individual member.
To obtain the general membership, the primary applicant must submit a signed application form to the Executive Board and pay the membership dues.
Upon receipt of the membership dues, an individual may be granted membership by the approval of the majority of the Executive Board members.
All Members in good standing share all the privileges and rights of the Association.
Individual Memberships expire every calendar year and will be eligible for renewal during the annual meeting.

Family membership means the primary member, the primary member's partner, and their children.
Family Membership applicants designate a primary member at the time of the application.
To obtain the general membership, the primary applicant must submit a signed application form to the Executive Board and pay the membership dues.
Upon receipt of the membership dues, an individual or a family may be granted membership by the approval of the majority of the Executive Board members.
All Members in good standing share all the privileges and rights of the Association.
Family Memberships expire every calendar year and will be eligible for renewal during the annual meeting.

Lifetime membership is granted to an Individual or a Family.
Lifetime Family Membership applicants designate a primary member at the time of the application.
The applicant must submit a signed Life Member Application form to the Executive Board of the Association.
The applicant pays the one-time lifetime membership dues as set by the Executive Board.
Upon the payment of such dues, a person may be granted life membership by the approval of the majority of the Executive Board members.
Life member in good standing will share all the privileges and rights of the Association.
Individual and Family Life membership will not expire during the lifetime of the individual.

NAFA may grant Honorary Membership to individual(s) and/or institution(s) making substantial contributions to our organization.
The Honorary Members shall share all the privileges and rights of the General Members except during election of the Executive Board.
