Update #1

As Per SEI-Nepal Facebook page:

As a part of our Post Earthquake Reconstruction/Renovation of Schools 2015-16, we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hilepani Sanskrit Secondary School, Lamidanda VDC, Dolakha district on March 22, 2017, to reconstruct/renovate four rooms and a toilet. The project is financially supported by Nepali American Friendship Association (NAFA), USA, and is expected to be completed by September 15, 2017.

This is the twentieth of 22 schools that are receiving our support in their effort to reopen after the effects of the April 2015 earthquake.

The school's details are as follows:

Introduction:

Hilepani Sanskrit Secondary School, established in 1988, is located in Lamidanda VDC – 4 in the Dolakha district. It is around 168 km away from central Kathmandu. It runs classes from nursery to grade 12. Today, it has altogether 256 students with 16 academic staff.

Need:

Prior to the earthquake, the school had a total of 16 classrooms, out of which 20 rooms were damaged totally by the earthquake. As the school needed at least 12 rooms to conduct its regular operations, it requested us to make at least four rooms operational. Currently, the school is running its classes in Temporary Learning Centers.

Solution:

We are supporting the school to add four rooms and a toilet to help the school conduct classes there and maintain the necessary sanitary environment.
