Minutes of 11/18/07 Meeting:

1) Dasai Celebration

- It was decided that those that made food would donate it and get free access to the the celebration. Amounts above the ticket cost would be reimbursed.

- Event cost $1022. There was a surplus of $180. The extra funds would be donated into the scholarship fund.

- Next year suggest we have pre sale tickets and those purchased at the event. Pre-sale tickets discounted $4 or $5.

- Music

- Rice was not enough we mis-counted the trays.

2) New Years Celebration

- Date picked - 4/19/2008

- Potluck meal

- Need location. Think about for next meeting. Shorewood Hills offered as a good location.

3) 2008 Scholarships

- College Scholarships awarded at Dashain.

- Would like to give 3 -$500 scholarships.

4) Picnic

-For next meeting please recommend potential picnic sites.
